Honung. Honey harvest time!

Alice is harvesting honey from from the bee hives.

We need to take away the white layer (wax) from the wax frames, to be able to harvest the honey:

This is how it looks when the honey exposed:

We keep the rest of the wax that we took, to make candels or other different handycrafts.

Ingrid put the wax frames in the machine, which will centrifuge and make the honey came out.

After more or less 15 minuts, the honey comes out with all the wax particles!

Ann is helping the honey to run through the sieve.

After this, we have to filter twice and then… pure gold !

Sonia is relaxing to smell and look at the fresh honey… It is much more intense and tasty than the stored honey.
